3rd Annual cousin weekend

3rd annual cousin weekend was last weekend

in the Rice family.

So we headed up North to enjoy an action-packed weekend

in the hot, blazin- July sun.

We played silly games...

four wheelin' frenzy...

mowhawks for the boys...

arts and crafts...

and good ole fashion hammock lounging :)

Silly days

I think the high-temps, high-humidity weather

really started getting to us.

During our summer - hibernation

we found ourselves doing silly things like this :)

I must say, 

Elijah did look pretty sweet and angelic

(which he is, of course)

 

 I think it's time for us to get back outside 

and get the boys doing outside-boy-kind-of-things!

Cousins...

The last couple of Fridays we Baldry's (+1 Myers)

have been completely spoiled by our cousins, the Heeters.

Back to back lake days;

filled with lots of cousin fun and water fun.

Daddy wasn't able to join us the first time,

but we made sure he was in our camp for round two.

Cousin Megan wanted to try a little ski action this time...

as well as some tubing fun.

Noah was convinced he wanted to try his first go at skiing too.

sometimes Noah's quest for new adventures

can end up with heaps of frustration for him.

BUT.....this venture proved to be different.

Very proud of his determination

and steady stream of positive thinking,

which ended in a successful ski run.
