Soccer wrap-up

Hannah wet her appetite a little this spring

with an intro-to-soccer class 

in nearby community.

It was fun to be able to observe her in this atmosphere

and see what a good little sport she is!

Big brother Noah came the last night to "sit on the sidelines"....

but he likes it best to be right alongside her.

She still is a little apprehensive in new situations, 

so it was great to have her best buddies alongside her.

Carter and Wes are like brothers.

Good opportunity to meet other little friends too.

FOR FIELD TRIPS!!!!

Hannah's preschool headed to the Madison Zoo

It was a gorgeous day

only 2 weeks to go until our summer "officially" begin!

Our Mother's Day

Mother's Day was filled with lots of energy and spunk.

What can a mom of 4 kids 

(ages 6 and under, including a newborn) expect, right?

They did slow down long enough to honor mommy's wishes

to get some special photos with them...

of which I will share with you now :)

Noah doesn't slow down very much, 

so I took what I could get in the form of posing for pictures.

He is a kid full of energy and excitement;

when channeled, a love and enthusiasm for life (mostly the outdoors)

Hannah is our nurturer...

she cares for her brothers and sisters,

mostly keeping their best interest in mind.

Her heart is large and generous!

She loves to shine for Jesus in how she cares for others, 

and never lets too many minutes go by

without reminding us how much she loves us!

Elijah is sensitive and sweet with a mix of energy!

 He is our ham-bone and loves it!

He has mastered the classic pout,

but is so quick to flash a smile...  

 and our newest lovie...

Lydia.

 

spending most of her day soaking in the activity around her.

God has blessed me with a mother, grandmother,

 and beautiful children to be their mother!

Here's to dreaming of restful Mother's Days in the future :)

Spring Smiles

Last Sunday was a beautiful (bit chilly) spring day.

Mommy had the itch for some good pics!

Noah is a fabulous big brother!

Gentle-spirit and tender love and care with Miss Lydia

(makes our hearts melt)

 

 Drew is an awesome big cousin!

 More and more every day we see a bond developing
between these two rugrats.

Noah is a great teacher (when he wants to be)

and Elijah looks up to his big brother
with great eagerness to be just like him.

These two are just like brothers -
can be the best of times or the worst of times :)

but when it comes right down to it,

they love growing up together 

and have special places in their heart for each other.

I look forward to watching these friendships with each other grow

as they grow up and face life.

We are so very blessed.

Not always an easy task, but good workout nonetheless, 

trying to capture simultaneous smiles :)
