Our first photo shoot

It has been fun having little mini-photo shoots
when the opportunity arises...

She's already changing so much - 

but here are a few from a week ago, when she was only 4 days old.

If only Mommy could find a way to bottle up all of this

sweetness and adoration

and bring it out at will :)

Loved beyond words...

 Welcome home little Lydia!

Bridger was there to greet us when we got home....

She is an old pro at this welcome-home-committee stuff!

Then came the troops - 

who had been with Noni/Papa for the day.

Smiles have never been so plentiful...

 So genuine...

 so contagious!

 In a few short hours we could confidently say,

 that Lydia melts us all!

Her demeanor is sweet/content,

her cuddles and sweet breaths are intoxicating,

and her presence in this house is completing!

We love you "ity bitty Lydi"

(first official nickname)

Introducing our little bundle of blessings!

Sweet Lydia Rae 

made her speedy entrance into the world

last Friday, March 2nd at 4:02 a.m.

7lbs, 2oz, and 21-in long

as we head off to home!

Alas, the time has come to bid farewell to our old, outdated blog. . . .actually we somehow reached our quota for picture uploads at our old site and Google is kind of forcing our hand here, but nonetheless, we are officially a family of six.  We thought the arrival of Lydia is a good excuse to start a new blog.
